Brian Chisolm brings more than 20 years of experience and expertise from hotel group negotiations, leadership, sports tourism & partnerships, and hospitality industries. Currently, a Vice President of Global Account with ConferenceDirect, Brian’s clients includes national associations, corporations, non-profits and sporting organizations.
Prior to joining ConferenceDirect Brian has held leadership positions with Special Olympics International as a Director of Corporate Partnerships, Marriott International as Director of Sales & Marketing, Sr Account Executive, Sports & Entertainment Segment, and National Sales Manager. Brian works with groups such as the American Association of Physics Teachers, American Association of Christian Counselors, Black Enterprise Magazine, the Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman, Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, and many others on national and local programs.
Current and previous activities include being Adjunct Professor at Johnson & Wales University, Selection Committee Director for the Watkins Award (a National Alliance of African American Athletes national high school award), market research during the Winter Olympics in Nagano, presenter of Hospitality Principles at colleges and high school courses, and a former Ambassador of International Education (traveling to Zimbabwe and South Africa).
Brian is a graduate of The George Washington University where he received a Master’s of Tourism Administration, concentrating in Sports & Events Management and Trinity College in Hartford, CT, majoring in Sociology. Brian and his wife Adrienne currently reside in Silver Spring, MD with their three sons Brian II, Cyrus and Dallas.
